Printmaking was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The first step was to trace your design onto your linoleum block. Then, the second step was to carve it out.
This is the carving tool you use to carve out your design.
The next step is to start printing your design. You use a brayer and roll it in the printmaking ink. A brayer is like a paint roller but it's used for printmaking. Once you roll your ink out on a metal tray, and ink up your brayer, you will roll out the ink onto your linoleum block. Then, you will press your linoleum block on your paper and peel it off. I repeated this process until I got five good prints.
This is my best finished print. Again, I chose a softball because it's my favorite favorite sport. I was very happy with how my final product turned out.
Hanna, this is very great! The prints all turned out very clean and nice!

I liked the steps you used. My favorite one was the brayer step because it had all the instructions, how long to hold, what the brayer is, and how to use it.
